Changing With the Seasons
Our shop moves with the land, shifting as each season brings its own colours, flavours, and textures. There is always something new to discover—fresh harvests, small-batch preserves, handmade goods, and treasures gathered from the fields.
Winter is our favourite time of all. The shelves brim with British woollen comforts: sheepskin rugs, Harris Tweed coats, vintage Barbour, and all things coorie for dark evenings. The air is scented with pine from local Nordmann fir Christmas trees, and wreaths—both ready-made and for crafting yourself—hang beside a fully stocked festive larder. As the farm settles into its winter rest, the shop glows with warmth, tradition, and seasonal celebration.
Fresh local produce
From the farm’s own market garden and our neighbouring growers comes a vibrant, ever-changing harvest. Spring brings the first tender rhubarb and asparagus; summer follows with soft fruits, mixed salads with edible flowers, speciality peas and beans, and sun-ripe tomatoes; Autumn and Winter completes the cycle with its abundance of roots, brassicas, squashes, hedgerow gleanings and orchard treasures.
We’re proud to champion the Crowdfarming initiative too—connecting organic farmers across the world directly with you. As a not-for-profit purveyor, we offer seasonal avocadoes, citrus, bananas and more.
Specialist meats
Our butchery selection is rooted in quality and provenance. From our own pastured flock comes grass-reared lamb, hogget, and mutton—rich, characterful, and raised with care. At certain times of year, we also offer pork from our Wild Boar cross pigs.
To complement this, we stock Pasture for Life Highland Cross beef, farmed red-deer venison, wild venison, and a range of oven-ready feathered game. And for grazing boards or gifts, our Scottish air-dried charcuterie is a quiet triumph—crafted with patience, tradition, and passion.
Larder staples
For a small shop, our pantry shelves are wonderfully generous. You’ll find organic pulses and grains, specialist bread flours, jars and tins for quick meals, nut butters, spices, herbs, and a thoughtful range of local pastas and sauces.
Whether you’re cooking from scratch, building a last-minute supper, or curating a slow-evening grazing board, we’ve got you covered. And don’t miss our cheese fridge—small but mighty, and one of our proudest corners of the shop.
Eco-cleaning & toiletries
We keep things simple, effective, and kind—to your home, your body, and the earth. Our eco-cleaning range focuses on reduced plastic, gentle formulations, and companies working hard to leave a lighter footprint.
Alongside these we stock natural toiletries and self-care items from local organic makers: handmade soaps, botanical balms, candles, creams, and hair and skincare products crafted in small, thoughtful batches. Everyday essentials, made beautiful.
