Join us for a one of a kind coastal gathering, celebrating the North Sea, where Scottish and Scandinavian traditions meet...
The day will be filled with a celebration of our connection to nature - the food and abundance on land, sea and shore.
Punctuated with moments to gather, reflect, make and connect. We will be offering celebrations of the season.
Join us for our family friendly daytime events, or linger in the evening over a shared meal, bonfire and entertainment.

Guided Forage Tour #1 at the Market Garden
Foraging walk on the farm, learning about edible wild foods and their uses with Feral Forager Scotland, followed by a taster with some of Feral Foragers delicous bakes and herbal concoctions. (max 8 people) £12 per person

Guided Mandala Making in the Sheep Field
We will gather natural materials and learn mandala symbolism + seasonal awareness as we co-create a collaborative nature mandala, with Mel (Inner Stillpoint) & Stewart (Sound Forest Spirit). (max 12 people)Donation on site.

Storytelling in the Yurt
Traditional & nature-inspired tales in a relaxed and immersive atmosphere with David G Pullar & Celia Norman Smith (max 18 people) Donation onsite.

DIY Nature Mandala in the sheep field
Materials + guidance available all day; contribute to a shared evolving artwork; suggested donation onsite.
Sillyflatt will be closed from 4pm - 7pm to allow us to transform for the evening! If you are joining us for the full day, you could take this time to relax down by the water or go on a long walk over the Laing Rig to enjoy the views.

Enjoy an abundance of seafood and salads, a collaboration between the Field Kitchen at Sillyflatt and The Seafood Bothy. Vegetarian option available.

Enjoy stories, solstice traditions and other entertainment into the wee hours.
The Summer Table with Sarah Rankin, featuring Highland Boundary botanical spirits

We are delighted to be collaborating with Sarah Rankin, chef, food writer, and lover of Scottish flavours and produce to present a the The Summer Table.
The Summer Table takes place on Sunday the 19th of July at 3:00pm, where sky, land and sea meet. Sarah will be serving a generous sharing menu showcasing the best of seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients where you can take time to enjoy good food in great company.
We will be featuring Highland Boundary botanical spirits at the supper. Highland Boundary captures the unique flavours of the Scottish wilderness and distils them into an innovative range of botanical spirits and liqueurs. Lovingly crafted in our Scottish distillery, our spirit encompasses all the loved traits of vodka or gin with a wild Scottish twist. Perfect for cocktails and for those looking for a natural yet remarkable drinking experience.
You are also invited to join us for a The Wild Cocktail, a mocktail/cocktail workshop with Highland Boundary that will start at 1:30pm in the yurt. (Limited to 12 and an additional cost).
Seasonality, sustainability and a focus on Scottish producers and our unrivalled larder are at the heart of Sarah Rankin's cookbooks Kith and Feast, both of which are available now.
Sarah is a private chef, cooking for events all over the country, and runs a Supper Club from her home in Perthshire, as well as hosting cookery classes for home cooks, all focusing on seasonal and sustainable eating. She is also a much in demand culinary event host, welcoming visitors and competitors to the Golden Spurtle World Porridge Championships every October, hosting the Scottish Foodies Festival Chef’s Theatre and the Ideal Home Show Food and Drink stage. She is a
regular contributor on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 4's iconic food panel show, The Kitchen Cabinet, talking all things food and cooking.
Sarah says, "I am an ingredient led chef with a deep respect for both the produce I cook and the people who grow it. Celebrating farmers and growers who prioritise quality, welfare and integrity is central to my work, and sharing their stories helps connect diners to the care and commitment behind every ingredient.
